Surgeons Mr Tansley and Dr Seneviratne along with Specialist Plastic Surgery Nurse, Ms Sue Kent, contributed to the highly successful Cosmetex 16, The Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Expo meeting in Sydney.
To a standing-room-only audience, Mr Tansley delivered an academic presentation on Browlifts and contributed as a panellist considering aspects of surgical management of facial aesthetics. He was interviewed on camera by the Plastic Surgery Hub and invited to be part of a panel considering the merits and challenges of Polyurethane Foam covered silicone breast implants. Once again following the success of last year’s meeting in Melbourne, he was also invited to be part of the International Face Panel considering management of difficult facial rejuvenation cases with expert colleagues from across the globe.
In between these activities, he fulfilled his duties at the Council meeting of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery before he joins the Executive later this year to take over as Censor in Chief. He also took part in the Annual General Meeting of the College at which the audience was delighted to observe the convocation ceremony of new Fellows including Dr Seneviratne.
The team enjoyed a little downtime at Café Sydney, enjoying dinner overlooking Sydney harbour as the lights twinkled on the bridge and the water before leaving the city to start again at our practices in Melbourne and Brisbane.
See you in Sydney again next year for Cosmetex 17!
