What Can A Necklift Do For Me?

Necklift surgery is performed to address the following concerns:

• Excess, lax skin
• Fatty tissue under the chin
• Loss of definition of the cervico-mental angle between the neck and chin
• “Platysmal bands” (vertical lines under the neck skin)

Necklift surgery rejuvenates each of these areas by removal of excess lax skin, removal of the fatty tissue under the chin, creation of an acute cervico-mental angle and management of platysmal bands.

Necklift surgery is often performed in conjunction with facelift surgery to address skin excess and where appropriate, however it is also performed in patients where the neck doesn't match the facial appearance.
